The hotel was founded by Carl Sacher, son of the Sacher Cake inventor Franz Sacher, in
1881. It also became bigger as he attached two new wings to the existing 4-star hotel.
The well-known Hotel Sacher is situated next to the Wienerwald (Vienna Forest) and offers its guests stylishly equipped rooms, a restaurant that meets exalted requirements, well-equipped conference rooms as well as an intimate atmosphere and a pleasant stay.
Our hotel has 45 rooms, all equipped with bath or shower / WC, dryer, cable TV, radio, room safe, telephone, modem link. The hotel also provides a restaurant, Café Garden, a small bar, conference rooms and a sauna. Of cause there is a car park at our guest's diposal.  Traveling by car:
From Salzburg/linz: motorway A1 at crossing Steinäusl direction Graz motorway A21 junction Mayerling direction Alland Baden/helenental enter the federal road B210 16km. When you arrive at Baden turn right to the hotel after about 800m.
Coming from Vienna or Graz: motorway A2 junction Baden onto the federal road B210 direction Baden Helenental. With the ending of the bypass road you will find the hotel on the left-hand side.
Traveling by train:
Public Transport Station, take the bus (Wiener Lokalbahn) and the tram (Badener bahn). When you arrive at the station or the Josefsplatz you can take the citybus line R until the Rauhenstein station.
(driving time ca. 7 minutes).
