This building has been a Tavern, an Inn and Hotel for about 1,000 years.
Since 1837 it has had the same family management.
The only Hotel overlooking the River Arno, in the oldest part of the historic centre, the Royal Victoria is also in the heart of the Shopping and University areas, and in the most popular Dining Out district.
The Leaning Tower is within a very short walk across the most charming medieval streets and piazzas.

 DIRECTIONS
The symbol of the hotel is right in the centre of the map, on the river.
A City Bus, at only 0.80 Euro:
- ON YOUR WAY TO THE HOTEL:
- You must purchase tickets at the Information Desk by the Arrivals area, or at an automatic dispenser by the bus stop, or with an extra fee from the bus driver.
- the Bus stop is just outside the Departures area, only one bus line serves the Airport so you cannot be mistaken.
- The last Bus runs at 11:56 pm, later there will be a Nightline bus (Navetta Blu) until 00:24 am.
- There is a bus every 20 minutes (50 minutes on the morning of Sundays and Holidays).
- The Bus ride is approximately of 11 minutes (slower at night).
- You need to get off at a Bus stop called 'Lungarno Gambacorti 1 - Comune'.
- During the ride, once you see the river to your right, get ready, the Bus Stop is close by the second bridge.
- Once you're off the bus, you will see the hotel on the opposite embankment.
- Go right, take the bridge and go across the river, then left along the riverside: the hotel is the 3rd building to your right.
- (if you are on the Nightline Bus you must get off at 'Lungarno Pacinotti 3', which is only a few metres from our door.
By Car
DRIVING TO THE HOTEL:
- out of the parking area keep left
- TURN RIGHT towards -> PISA CENTRO and pass under a flyover
- GO STRAIGHT and you will reach a bridge over the railway
- across the bridge at the bottom of the ramp TURN LEFT
- take the FIRST RIGHT
- at the end of that street you must go RIGHT
- On the roundabout take not the 1st, not the 2nd (wrong way) but the 3rd exit.
- There will be a traffic light just before a bridge over the River Arno.
- Do not cross the river, go LEFT at light and drive along riverside.
- go past 2 bridges on your right.
- At the 3rd bridge you will find a set of lights.
- TURN RIGHT and cross the river.
- on the bridge keep to the right-hand lane
- at the Lights TURN RIGHT, this is the 'Lungarno Pacinotti'
- GO STRAIGHT and find the hotel, just before the next lights
- Once you reach the front door, we will be happy to help you reach the garage, from where you can unload your luggage.
- If you need the garage, remember that it is advisable to book it.
WALKING from the Airport to the Hotel:
- Out of the Arrival terminal walk across the gardens and make your way under a flyover of the double-carriageway to Firenze.
- Keep on walking straight up that residential street
- at the far end you will find a little piazza with a small garden
- there you will see there is the bridge over the rail tracks
- you must go over the bridge
- on the opposite side, DO NOT walk down the ramps, but you need to take the stairway in front of you.
- at the bottom of the stairway, across the street there is a straight road in front of you
- take this road to the very end
- you will see that you are on a piazza with some gardens
- keep on the left hand-side of the piazza and go across
- doing so you will have crossed two streets on your left
- you will be in piazza Toniolo - as a reference you will see Hotel Minerva on your left, keep going until you find a fork
- keep left at the fork and enter via Ceci (also commonly known as via San Martino)
- Walk all the way down via San Martino, at the very end you will have an intersection with Corso Italia - the main pedestrian street of Pisa
- you will notice a Renaissance arcade on your right
- turn right into Corso Italia
- after a few meters you will see the bridge over the river Arno
- go across the bridge and you will see the hotel to your left after about 20 meters
