The Villa dei Misteri takes its name from a ruined ancient Pompeiian villa located on the same street.
Situated near the entrance of the Pompei archaeological site, the hotel has a pool and car parking facilities.
The Villa dei Misteri Motel is located on the outskirts of the archaeological area of Pompeii. The ancient city's main entrance ('Porta Marina') is only 150 metres (a couple of streets) from us. The centre of the modern city is only two km (less than a mile) away.
Two important means of transportation, the Circumvesuviana railway and the A3 Napoli-salerno motorway, are both very close (150 and 300 metres, a few streets). This makes the Motel Villa dei Misteri an ideal starting point for trips to the Sorrentine peninsula, the Amalfi Coast, Naples and the area around Mount Vesuvius.
In the centre of the hotel complex is 25-metre pool surrounded by a sun-terrace on which, during the summer, you can eat your meals from the restaurant. We also have a small conference room (for up to 40 people) that you can use for preparatory talks or lessons before visiting the Pompei excavations. | | Room Information: | Single Room

 BY CAR (coming from north):
Coming from Rome on the A1 motorway, turn onto the A3 motorway (also called Napoli-pompei-salerno). Exit at POMPEI OVEST, turn left and then after 200 metres, turn left again. On your left you will see some toll booths and in front of you there is a little road that climbs up the hill to the Pompeii ruins. Pass the entrance to the ruins and continue up the hill for 1/4 mile. We are on the left.
BY CAR (coming from south):
Coming from Salerno on the A3 motorway, exit at POMPEI OVEST. (Be careful not to take the Scafati or Pompei Est exits, otherwise you will have to pass through the town center and it will take much longer to reach us).
As previously mentioned, exit at POMPEI OVEST, turn left and then after 200 metres, turn left again. You will see on your left some toll booths, and in front of you there is a little road that climbs up the hill to the Pompeii ruins. Pass the entrance to the ruins continue up the hill for 1/4 mile. We are on the left.
BY TRAIN:
Coming from Rome with TRENITALIA, get off at NAPOLI CENTRALE station. Here, from the lower level of the station, you can take a CIRCUMVESUVIANA TRAIN headed for SORRENTO. Get off at the POMPEI SCAVI station after about 10 miles (25 minutes).
Our hotel is situated 200 metres up the little hill, leading to the Pompeii excavations, that you will see when you exit the station.
BY PLANE:
Take a bus (or taxi) from NAPLES CAPODICHINO AIRPORT to the NAPOLI CENTRALE railway station (5 miles). Here go to the lower level of the station and take a CIRCUMVESUVIANA TRAIN headed to SORRENTO. Get off at the POMPEI SCAVI station after about 10 miles (25 minutes). Our hotel is situated 200 metres up the little hill, leading to the Pompeii excavations, that you will see once you exit the station. | | Business Facilities: |
