What is now called 'La Vecchia Cartiera' (the Old Paper-mill) was once a prestigious paper factory, active since 1200.
Located just 18 km from Siena, the ancient building has become a comfortable hotel after careful refurbishment. The facade, characterised by harmonious arched windows, displays the architectural traits of the paper-mills of that time.
The hotel offers 38 comfortable guest rooms equipped with all the modern comforts and the restaurant proposes a rich and varied menu where tastes of bygone days continue in the traditional dishes of Tuscan cuisine.
