Located on the Grand Canal in the very heart of Venice, 5 minutes walking from the Rialto Bridge and at 15 minutes from St. Mark's Square, the San Cassiano is the first hotel in Venice which has been named Residenza d'Epoca from a special government commission of Fine Arts; this important grading was achieved thanks to its historical and artistic values; in particular it was the house-studio of Giacomo Favretto, the last XIX century venetian painter.
