There are regular ferry crossings from Ibiza to Formentara. Taxis run to the centre of Ibiza (journey time is 20 minutes) and to Playa den Bossa, San Antonio, Santa Eulalia, San José and San Juan. The taxi rank is located next to the terminal. There is also a bus to Ibiza (journey time is 30 minutes).
The best ways to get around Ibiza are on foot or by taxi. A car is recommended for exploring the less touristic parts of the island. Mopeds can be hired in most resorts.
