Panteón y Museos de San Isidoro Distance: 1 miles
This church, a short walk northwest of the cathedral, was dedicated to San Isidoro de Sevilla in 1063 and contains 23 tombs of Leonese kings. One of the first Romanesque buildings in León and Castile, it was embellished by Ferdinand I's artists.

The usual cathedral elements are virtually eclipsed here by the awesome stained-glass windows--some 125 in all (plus 57 oculi), dating from the 13th century. They are so heavy they have strained the cathedral's walls.
