| | Local Attractions: | Plaza de Espaa Distance: 0 miles This square is located in the centre of 'Maria-luisa-park', forming a semi-circle around an artificial lake. It has great ceramic ornaments that symbolize the different provinces of Spain; this is one of the most emblematic monuments in town.
Semana Santa (Easter) Distance: 0 miles In the 16th century the Catholic Church ordered to make huge wooden figures of Saints and those figures were carried with the processions. The figures of the Saints are carried by Costaleros, each of whom has to carry a weight of up to 100 kg.
Giralda Distance: 1 miles This is the city's landmark. The tower of the cathedral used to be the minaret of the old Moorish mosque. When it was built it was the highest building in the world, even thought this is not longer true, you can still enjoy a fantastic view of the city.
