The Crowndale Hotel is a warm and friendly establishment in a quiet location, yet close to the seafront and town centre.

A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at the Crowndale Hotel, situated on a quiet tree-lined road, only a short walk from the sea-front with its safe sandy beach and harbour.
All of our double and family rooms are en-suite and have complimentary beverage trays, hairdriers, colour TVs and radio alarm clocks.
FOR THE COMFORT AND SAFETY OF OUR GUESTS THE HOTEL IS COMPLETELY NON SMOKING.
Start your day with a choice of cereals, fruit juices, yoghurt, grapefruit, and fresh fruit followed by a full English breakfast or, perhaps, something a little lighter such as scrambled eggs.
We have a comfortable guests lounge, where you can watch TV or a video, do a jigsaw, play cards or board games, or just curl up with a good book! In addition, there is a car park at the rear of the hotel and also a sun terrace.
We welcome children and babies and offer a substantial discount for 2 - 12 year olds (under 2 are free) and have a travel cot and highchair available at no extra cost, plus other items such as a baby bath and changing mat.
Close by is the Riviera Leisure and Conference Centre, Torre Abbey and Gardens, theatre, shops, bowling greens, tennis courts, pitch and putt, crazy golf and regular boat trips from the harbour. There are also many restaurants, pubs and clubs close by.

Other local attractions include the picturesque village of Cockington, Babbacombe Model Village, Paignton Zoo, Kents Cavern, Quaywest Water Park and steam railways to name but a few.  From the end of the M5 follow directions for Torquay (A380), passing through Newton Abbott and Kingskerswell. At the 'English Riviera' roundabout, continue straight on and pass through the traffic lights by Courts and McDonalds. Follow this road until you get your first glimpse of the sea, and at the traffic lights by Halfords, take the outside lane (signposted the seafront) and continue down Avenue Road. Pass through the next set of lights at Mill Lane, and then take the next left into Bampfylde Road. Bridge Road is the second road on the left and the Crowndale is on the left hand side of the road.
Our courtesy car will meet guests arriving by train or coach.

Take a trip back in time and visit this picturesque village with it's thatched cottages and tiny church. Take a tour of the village in a pony and trap, or visit the craft centre. Then of course you can sample a delicious cream tea!

Model Village set in the most beautiful location, which is illuminated at night. Ideal attraction for all the family.
Paignton Zoo Distance: 3 miles
