At Queens you will find friendly and efficient service throughout the hotel. When you have no restrictions on where to put a building, you tend to put it in the best place, so when they were rebuilding the Queens Hotel in 1845, that's exactly what they did. Situated in the geographical centre of Cumbria, surrounded by the 'Lake District National Park' and close to all the conveniences of the town, it is small wonder that the Queens Hotel has always flourished. However, location and good food by themselves do not create the perfect holiday. Neither do comfortable well-appointed rooms, which of course we have. It is the small things like a friendly smile, and staff remembering you from last time, that we at the Queens, think makes the big difference. The lounge and breakfast room are non-smoking at all times.

The Queens Hotel was rebuilt in 1826, in the centre of Keswick, and has been periodically renovated. It has therefore several room styles and sizes, and some have a Lakeland view, whilst others don't.

Getting There:

Keswick is easily reached from the M6. At Junction 40, travel west along the A66 to the Keswick turn-off, the 'Queens Hotel' is in the market square next to the famous 'Moot Hall'. The hotel only has limited under cover parking and do have a charge of 5.00 per night for this. Please enquire at time of booking if space is available. Free outside car parking available on near by public car park with a pass from the hotel.
