In Bowness village there are many restaurants, shops, public houses, a cinema, a theatre and other attractions.
An all weather leisure environment, Parklands Country Club has something for everyone. The club incorporates a swimming pool with children'sarea, spa bath, sauna, steam room and jet showers.
There is a badminton court, squash court and trimnasium. On the first floor is a comprehensive club lounge and bar, 2 full size snooker tables,

 Key must be collected from our main hotel which is 21 The Lakes on Lake Road in Windermere.From north or south leave the M6 at junction 36 and follow the A591 towards Windermere. Take a left oposite the Windermere hotel signposted for the town centre. Follow the one way system through the town heading down the hill towards Bowness for approx 1/2 a mile. 21 The Lakes is situated on the left hand side about 20 yards before a zebra crossing.Check-in at our reception and we will give keys to your suite together with a directional map of how to get to Aphrodites Lodge.
