The Hydro is one of the oldest Lake District Hotels, built as a water cure hotel in the late 19th century.
This year, water treatment is returning to the Hydro, with the opening of the Hydro Spa, the newest hotel swimming pool in the Lake District. Already with jacuzzi, sauna and mini gym we have plans for steam and treatment rooms.
If you're after a quiet moment, just relax in the lounge looking over Bowness towards the lake.
Why not combine a relaxing morning in the Spa, with a more exhilarating water activity; try you hand sailing on Hydrotherapy, the hotels 34ft yacht, under the capable guidance of our resident skipper.
