The Somerville is a superbly located non smoking hotel close to the harbour and the town centre
It has a large car park, beautiful gardens and 11 rooms, many of which have been substantially upgraded.
The Somerville was originally a Victorian villa and occupies a prominent site on the road down to the harbour. Most of the rooms have undergone substantial refurbishment and some now have luxury en suite facilities as well as exquisite bedroom furniture.
The hotel has a licenced bar to relax in as well as a wonderful sun lounge which offers wonderful views across the Torwood valley.
Cleanliness, the comfort of our guests and good service are our top priorities.

This is a compact double which has recently been totally refurbished. It is furnished to the highest of standards and has a bed with a luxury pocket sprung mattress. Tucked away at the back of the hotel, this room is iseal for those who like peace and quiet.

This is a wonderfully bright mini suite of two rooms with an interconnecting door. The room has a King sized bed that can zip apart to create a twin room. In the second room there is a metal framed sofa bed that can also be used. This room has a small shower room and also benefits from exclusive use of another shower room.

In order to secure a booking we ask for a deposit equal to the first night's accommodation charge.
Deposits are fully refundable providing more that 7 days notice has been given. An adminitration charge of 5.00 will be charged for all cancellations.
In the event of a cancellation being made with less than 7 days notice we will endeavour to relet the room and if successful will refund the deposit less the 5 administration fee.
We do not accept group bookings such as stag or hen parties. If a booking is made which is subequently revealed to be a group booking or part of a group booking, it will be terminated without refund.
