The Southdown way passes the front door. We have recently refurbished our beautiful and luxurious 14th and 16th century bedrooms to a very high standard whilst retaining the original features. The rooms have kept their charm with oak beams, bespoke antique furniture and sleigh beds. By Car: Take the turning sign-posted towards Alfriston off the A27 when you reach the 'Drusillas roundabout'. Continue along this road for (about a mile) until you enter the village of Alfriston. The George Inn is located on the left hand side of this road, in the very heart of the village.
By Train: The nearest railway station is Berwick, which is on the main line between Lewes and Eastbourne (train times and information) Note Glynde Station is also on this line (for Glyndebourne).
By Bus: There is a bus service running from Berwick station through Alfriston - for timetables and further details please view Cuckmere Valley Ramblerbus.
