| | Restaurant Information: | | Hawtrey's Restaurant is an ideal venue to relax and enjoy modern French cuisine by our award winning Executive Head Chef Colin Buchan. Colin has joined Hawtrey's from Gordon Ramsay's Amaryllis Restaurant in Glasgow, where he was also Executive Head Chef. At Amaryllis Colin had the distinction of holding 1 Michelin Star and 3 AA Rosettes.
Guests can select from extensive A La Carte or Fixed Price menus, complemented by a comprehensive wine list. Hawtrey's has been fashioned after a Jacobean baronial hall, featuring rich mahogany panelling adorned with fine oil paintings, oak hammer beams supporting an intricate coffered ceiling, rich carpets and furnishings. Fine bone china, silver cutlery and crisp white tablecloths set the tone.
Hawtrey's fixed price menus are great value and are available for lunch Monday to Friday, for dinner Monday to Thursday at 22.00 GBP for two courses and 26.00 GBP for three courses. For dinner Friday, Saturday and Sunday only our Gastronomic menu is available, together with a 6 course prestige tasting menu.
A warm welcome is assured by restaurant manager Mr Hakim and his enthusiastic team, with service being attentive, informed and courteous. Mr Hakim also oversees an innovative and extensive wine list, featuring a wide selection of new world wines but with the main emphasis being towards French vintages.
We highly recommend diners make time to enjoy pre-dinner drinks in our sumptuous Bar Lounge that boasts an extensive selection of fine malt whiskeys, cognacs and almanacs together with a wide selection of cocktails. |
