The hotel also mantains a unique sense of history. The University of Manchester has developed the original site and 'Chancellors' was officially opened in 1997. This distinctive venue now makes an ideal choice for conferences, dinners, or accommodation. The Chancellors team is always on hand for every stage of your visit, from planning and booking to the event itself, to ensure that your needs are met.
Each of our 75 bedrooms (all non-smoking) have been recently redecorated and refurbished to grade 3 star equivalent standard. Each of the rooms has an en-suite bathroom and is equipped with a desk, direct dial telephone, television, hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities.
Four of our bedrooms are specially designed to accommodate disabled guests with impaired mobility. Two of these bedrooms also interconnect with standard single rooms. There is full access for wheelchair users into and throughout the building. | | Getting There: |
 From the North: from the M61 join the M60 following signs for Manchester Airport. Then join the M602 (signposted Manchester). Follow signs for Manchester Airport onto the A57. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit (A5103), after approximately 1&1/2 miles take a left at the traffic lights into Wilbraham Road (A6010). At the 4th set of traffic lights turn left into Chancellors Way.
From the South: Leave the M6 at Junction 19 (Knutsford), turn right onto the A56 and follow signs for Manchester Airport. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit for the M56 (Manchester). Take right hand lanes to the end of the motorway and join the A5103 - keep forward (signposted Manchester City Centre).
At the 5th set of traffic lights turn right onto Wilbraham Road (A6010 signposted Sheffield). At the 4th set of traffic lights turn left onto Chancellors Way.
From the West: Leave the M62 onto the M602. Follow signs for Manchester Airport onto the A57. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit (A5103), after approximately 1&1/2 miles take a left at the traffic lights into Wilbraham Road (A6010). At the 4th set of traffic lights, turn left into Chancellors Way.
From the East: At the end of the M67 turn left onto the M6 (Stockport). Leave the M60 at Junction 5 and join the A5103 - keep forward (signposted Manchester City Centre).
At the 5th set of lights turn right onto Wilbraham Road (A6010 signposted Sheffield). At the 4th set of lights turn left onto Chancellors Way.
Chancellors is situated on the left hand side opposite the Armitage Sports Centre.
