From London & South:
- Take M6 exit 19 onto A556 to M56. M56 becomes A5103, which is also called Princess Rd., Go under The Mancunian Way, staying on Princess Rd. which turns into Medlock St which then turns into Albion St. Stay on Albion, going over Whitworth (B6469) until you get to Lower Mosley St. Follow Lower Mosley until you come upon tram tracks and are forced to go either left or right. Turn left onto Mount St, passing the G-mex centre on your left, and then take the 3rd right onto Southmill St. This is our side entrance.
From Manchester International Airport:
- Take M56 north towards Manchester until it becomes A5103, which is also called Princess Rd., Go under The Mancunian Way, staying on Princess Rd.

From Lancaster & North:
- Take M6 to exit 30 onto M61 to exit 15 onto M60. Follow M60 to exit 17 onto A56. Follow signs to city centre. Once in city centre the A56 is called Deansgate.
Drive through 5 main traffic lights. At the 5th set of lights look for a shop called 'Blacks Outdoor Shop' which should be on the right, and turn left onto Peter St. The hotel is 200 yards up Peter St. on the right hand side and is marked by 9 archways and black flags bearing our name.
From Liverpool & West:
- Take M62 going east to Exit 12. Join M602 towards Manchester city centre.
The motorway turns into the A57, which is Regent Rd. Stay on the A57 following the signs to Manchester (A56). After you pass the large tile store on your right and go through the traffic lights there, then get into the left lane.
This will take you to a very large roundabout. Stay in the left lane and go onto the roundabout (do not go under it). Then take the 1st exit marked (Deansgate) into the city centre. Follow Deansgate until you come to a long red and yellow brick building full of shops, its called the 'Great Northern'. When this building ends take the next right onto Peter St. The hotel is about 200 yards up on the right hand side and is marked by 9 archways and black flags bearing our name.
From Hull/newcastle/leeds & the East:
- Take the M62 to exit 17 onto A56 & follow signs to city center.
Once in city centre the A56 is called Deansgate. Drive through 5 main traffic lights. Directions to Parking:
- Go to the south end of Deansgate and turn east onto Whitworth St. At the lights go left onto Albion St. Or if coming from the south come along A5103 until it becomes Albion St.
At the set of traffic lights turn left onto Great Bridgewater St. Follow the signs to The Great Northern NCP Parking lot. Walk out of the parking lot exits and turn left on Watson St. which takes you directly to Peter St. Turn right & the hotel is about 200 yards up on the right hand side. Valet parking is available at 20 for 24 hours (reservation required).
By metro - Closest metro link is in St Peters Square which is approximately a 2 minutes walk from the hotel.
Car park - The closest car park to the hotel is Great Northern Warehouse which is situated at the rear of the hotel.
Valet parking will be available on request.
