Our hotel, set in 10 acres of garden, is situated on the western side of Guernsey, 10 minutes walk from Cobo beach.
We are also located 10 Minutes drive from the centre of St Peter Port and 15 minutes drive from the airport.
In 1998 the hotel was invited to join the French-based hotel consortium, Relais
du Silence, comprising of 300 hotels throughout Europe renowned for their quietness and tranquillity.
On arrival at this old Guernsey farmhouse, you will discover the old fashioned style of Guernsey hospitality and the informal, relaxed ambience - all the ingredients for a weekend away or a longer stay in the summer.
Guernsey is well known for it's friendliness and hospitality, (as well as its tomatoes!) and you will find the young team at the Hougue exemplify this.
Our hotel is under the watchful direction of its proprietor Linda Letten, the Hougue has become one of the best Country House Hotels in the Channel Islands. The international staff provide personal and efficient service, speaking German, French, Italian and Portuguese.
