Just a short hop from the Channel Tunnel and Garden Lodge is only 7 miles from Dover and the many Cross Channel services that are offered by Hoverspeed, SeaFrance, PAOSL also the Cruise Terminal. The beautiful Cathedral City of Canterbury, a must for all visitors, with numerous shops and tourist attractions alike is only twelve miles up the road.
The Garden Lodge is a very comfortable family home. Our beautiful garden has aviaries, a fish pond and a mosaic tiled solar heated swimming pool with steps for easy access. (only available in summer months)
Our restaurant uses home grown vegetables and free range eggs from our own chickens and ducks. All our cakes and pastries are home-made daily, and during the summer we also serve delicious traditional Kentish cream teas in the garden by the pool. Traditional Sunday Lunch is always available in our beautiful dining room and on the patio - when booking please let us know as it is open to non-residents and can be very busy.
We are within easy reach of internationally recognised equestrian centre, Lydden Motor Racing Circuit, golf courses, zoological parks, historic castles, sports facilities, recognised walks, cycle routes and a multitude of gardens.
