Arties Mill is a charming old windmill originaly built circa 1790

The Mill is located 1 mile from the town of Brigg which has a colourful history of markets and fairs.

Brigg first grew as a crossing point on the river Ancholme taking it's name from the bridge constructed to make east-west journeys easier. Sadly, its sails have been dismantled but the Mill owners, havee preserved many interesting features of the old building. The Mill interior and the adjoining grain sheds have been attractively converted into bars, restaurants and function rooms..

From the M18 join the M180 signposted Grimsby. At junction 4 take the exit signposted Scunthorpe East and join the A18 signposted Brigg. Arties Mill & Lodge is on the corner of the A18 and the B1208.

Restaurant Information:
The Lounge Bar, with seating for up to 80 people, serves tasty bar meals daily from 11.30am to 10pm, while the Carvery Restaurant (booking advisable) is open every weekend evening and on Sunday between noon and 8pm. The Conservatory, Function Room and the Upstairs Round Room are all used for private functions or meetings for groups of anything up to 115 seated, or 130 buffet style.
