Take the A1 North, from here take J49, the A168 towards Thirsk / Sowerby. At Sowerby take the A19 towards Thirsk. From the A19 take the A170 towards Scarborough. From the A170, after Kirkbymoorside, turn left towards Hutton-le-hole. Continue on this road until you reach Rosedale Abbey, turn left into Alder Carr Lane, then turn left into Gill lane.
