Newly refurbished, many of the old single rooms have been transformed into delightful, airy, premier double rooms. Tastefully decorated and furnished in modern comfort, the hotel now has 85 fully equipped ensuite bedrooms and suites. All rooms have direct dial telephone, satellite colour TV, hospitality tray, hairdryer and that famous family of Forestdale Ducks. The top-floor Penthouse Suite has both lounge and dining areas as well as a luxurious bathroom complete with a double-size jacuzzi. The grand marbled entrance and reception hall are surrounded by extensive and comfortable lounge areas in which guests can enjoy a variety of refreshments, or simply relax whilst reading the papers. Woods Restaurant is located within the hotel, and has menus reflecting seasonal fresh produce from surrounding markets as well as exotic ingredients from around the world. Friendly and personal service compliments not only the food, but the extensive list of carefully chosen and affordable wines. Woods Bar is adjacent to the restaurant and offers all that you would expect from a stylish venue; from an exciting cocktail to a simple espresso.
Lunch is not offered but light bites are available from 9am till 6pm.
