Hotel Description:

The Beauchief Hotel is a traditional hotel, set within landscaped grounds three miles from the centre of Sheffield.

In our friendly hotel you will receive a warm welcome from our team.

This recently refurbished traditional hotel provides an excellent base for those wishing to explore the Lake District and surrounding areas. The landscapes of Yorkshire cannot fail to inspire - being the source of inspiration for numerous poets and writers. The wild beauty of the heather carpeted Yorkshire moors infuses the work of the Bronte sisters, such as Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights. And at their home in Haworth in West Yorkshire, you will gain a poignant insight into their brief lives.

Room Information:

All of our Single-bedded rooms consist of one single bed and meet our guests requirements with tea and coffee facilities, colour television, direct dial telephone and hairdryers in all of the rooms. All rates advertised on this room are sold on a room-only basis.

Restaurant Information:

The Beauchief Restaurant is a popular choice locally and well known for its food, wine and service. This stylish, airy, split-level restaurant also boasts the Regal Room, a semi private area, ideal for parties of up to 30 people.

Hotel Policies:

All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card. Rates are per room per night only inc. VAT (or local taxes) at the current rate. Settlement of the bill in full, less any advance payments must be made prior to departure from the Hotel. There is no charge, and any deposit paid will be returned, if a guaranteed reservation is cancelled in line with the hotels policy. Cancellations: should the need arise, immediately cancel your reservation online. Amendments: simply cancel and rebook online however, if it is within 2 days of your intended arrival, contact the Corus Reservations Office. Instructions are contained in your booking confirmation email. Children under 6 years stay free on the basis of one child sharing per adult. Cots are available free of charge, subject to availability. Please enter requests for extra child beds and/or cots, noting the age of the child, in the comments box when booking online. Group Booking Policy: Reservations where 6 or more rooms under the same name for the same arrival date will be classed as a Group Booking and may require a deposit or full pre-payment before the date of arrival. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are available on request. If you wish to bring your dog, please check in advance with the hotel.

Business Facilities:

The hotel is versatile and has four other conference rooms accommodating between 6 and 30 delegates, ideal for seminars and training sessions. The Hamlet Suite, with patio overlooking the River Sheaf is a very popular choice for weddings, private parties and conferences for up to 100 people.

Old Moor Wetland Centre Distance: 5 miles
Old Moor Wetland Centre is a 250 acre nature reserve with a variety of wetland habitats, in South Yorkshire's Dearne Valley. An excellent bird species range can be viewed through five superb, easily accessible, hides.

Getting There:

Exit M1 J29 the Chesterfield turn off, follow signs for A617 Chesterfield. In Chesterfield follow signes for the A61 Sheffield, just across the Sheffield boundary sign you will come to a large roundabout (Meadow Head) at which you should turn left and then first right (signposted Beauchief and Abbeydate Industrial Hamlet) to the bottom of the hill then turn left at the roundabout. Hotel is on the left just before the traffic lights.
