Welcome to Sir Christopher Wren's House Hotel and Spa. Regally overlooked by the towers of Windsor Castle on the banks of the River Thames, the hotel is the original home of the celebrated 17th Century architect, Sir Christopher Wren.
Ideally located for both business and pleasure, a warm greeting awaits. Rooms with unique character offer sumptuous comfort. Sunny terraces overlook Eton Bridge, the river or the castle.
Strok's Restaurant & Bar are beautifully situated facing the bridge overlooking the River Thames and Eton. The elegance of the Restaurant reflects its superb food and service. The Head Chef Phillip Wild and his team produce food with an exquisite flair and style that has resulted in a two AA rosette award. You may choose from the fixed price luncheon or dinner menu. In addition, an evening a la carte menu is available. In summer, the Stroks Restaurant is extended outside on to the Terrace Gardens overlooking the river, where guests may luncheon or dine under parasols and absorb the atmosphere of traditional England. Every Saturday afternoon throughout the year, the Stroks restaurant is the setting for some of the town's most elegant Wedding receptions.
The Hotel's own Spa, Wren's Club, provides relaxing beauty treatments, a 3 level gymnasium complete with Yoga and relaxation room, Sauna, Outdoor Jacuzzi Pool and relaxation area. Personal training is available for hotel guests along with an extensive list of half day and full day spa packages for a complete pampering experience. |

Getting There:

M4
Exit the M4 Motorway at Junction 6* and follow the signs to Windsor Town Centre. This will take you onto an elevated bypass. Take the first exit off this road (Windsor Leisure Centre will be on your left).
At the roundabout take the first exit, continuing to follow the signs to Windsor Town Centre. Pass through three sets of traffic lights to the next roundabout (at the King Edward Court multi-storey carpark). Take the first exit on the left. Continue under the railway bridge and follow the road around to the right (Browns Public House will be on your right and the River Thames on your left).
You will come to a pedestrian crossing and immediately after this turn left (by the Bel and Dragon Public House).
This is a pedestrian precinct, and the Hotel is on the left-hand side.
M40
Exit the M40 at Junction 2 and follow the A355 to the M4 Junction 6. Then take directions from* (above).
Car Parking
Car Parking is in the nearby Windsor & Eton Riverside Train Station Car Park. The hotel does not offer Car Parking. |
