From the South:
Take the A1 North all the way to Granada Services Washington. Follow the A1 Towards Newcastle/ Gateshead Angel of the North.
Take A167 Gateshead South, bear left at roundabout take A167 Gateshead, continue for 3 miles, at Springfield Hotel on right at lights, take slip road to left, follow the road we are a quarter of a mile on the right.
From the North:
Take A1 south continue until turning at A184 Gateshead (ignore turning Newcastle). Continue until mini roundabout turn right follow up the hill, at the roundabout carry across we are a quarter of a mile on left.
